The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof
In 1989 Ecumenical Patriarch Demetrius declared September 1st a Day of Prayer for the environment, our home. Although temporary, earth is our God-given home. Our current Patriarch Bartholomew has continued the practice. May all Christians take a moment to give thanks for God’s many and great Blessings, and then act upon that thanks day by day.
In this area we will post various materials from the Patriarch and elsewhere regarding God's Gift to us in the physical World.
